ISTS 2017（H29. 6. 3-9）

The
31st Space Science Symposium was held from June 3 to 9 at Himegin Hall,
Matsuyama City, Ehime. From our laboratory, Mr. Nishimura of Master's
1st year participated. The photo on the left is a front view of the
venue where the conference was held. A special venue was set up at the
main entrance, and the companies of space development companies
explained companies.

The
picture on the right will be the venue where you will make an oral
presentation. The hall had a total of 12 rooms for oral presentations,
and we made presentations for each field. This meeting were 866
presentations and 72 posters. Ms. Nishimura presentationed the result
of heating experiment of sheet plasma for the electric propulsion
device for space in the title of "Study of electric propulsion using
sheet plasma IV".

The
picture on the left is the state of the closing ceremony. After the
opening remarks, there was an oral excellent prize presentation and a
poster award announcement. In addition, because the venue is Ehime,
dinner was cooked by Jakoten and Sea bream rice.

From 9th to 14th July, Estoril Congress Center, Estoril, Portugal
, An international conference on the phenomenon of ionized gas 2017 was
held. From our laboratory, , Mr. Takimoto, Mr. Hayashi, Ms. Nishimura
participated. The photo on the left is a picture of the venue where the
conference was held.

picture on the left is the poster hall. There were a total of 4 poster
presentations, Takimoto (M2) was on the second day, Hayashi, Nishimura
(M1) went to the poster on the fourth day. This meeting were 70 oral
presentations and 298 poster presentations. Many presentations were
done from Basic plasma to applied fields such as medical care and
nuclear fusion because there were societies of plasma all over the
place. |

The picture on the right is the presentation by Takimoto (M2).
His poster is "Characteristics of recombination plasma in divergent
magnetic field on the linear diverter simulator TPD-Sheet IV". He
presentationed result of the influence of heat load due to the curved
magnetic field of the structure simulating the X - diverter in the
fusion reactor divertor section. Mr. Hayashi's poster is titled
"Retention and transmission of deuterium in tungsten on D-He mixture
plasma". He simulated incident plasma in the diverter section of the
fusion reactor, measured the occlusion / permeation amount of deuterium
and helium in tungsten, and announced the result of influence of helium
on tungsten. Ms. Nishimura's poster is titled "Development of electric
propulsion using ICR heating on TPD-Sheet IV". She announced the result
of heating efficiency in sheet plasma of ion heating using ICR heating.
